Ethics and professionalism have a unique language for licensed massage therapists. This four-hour class will review, clarify, and discuss transference, countertransference, ethical behavior, and decision-making. The course discusses what it means to be a reputable massage therapist and reviews professional development issues including the scope of practice, ethical conduct, standards of practice for massage professionals, and the therapeutic relationship.
